These new drive-in highway centers would come in franchise model with both sit-down and take-away options. Yum! Brands has already started KFC chains on national highways.

“But this would be the first one on NH from Pizza Hut,” said Razdan. However, he declined to share the locations of the coming centers.

Yum! Brands, which plans to add another 150 new outlets of Pizza Hut, KFC and Taco Bell this year would expand in the tier 2 cities with competitive pricing. “We have created an entry level value pack, where one can
get a pizza at sub Rs 50 price… We want to unlock the potential of these places,” he said.

According to him, the company has launched attractive price and scheme.

“Our pizzas are still 25 to 30 per cent cheaper from our competitor. We are providing a wide range of products to our valued customers,” said Razdan.

On expansion he added:" We would go in interior of Maharashtra and Gujarat. We would go to East and Andhra
Pradesh also. We have big plans for Hyderabad. We would ramp up our presence in UP at Lucknow, Kanpur and Allahabad."

Over Taco Bell, he said that the company has plans to bring it to Delhi and expand it further.

STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD

At present, Yum! Brands is operating 320 outlets of Pizza Hut in 60 cities of India. In 2013 Yum! Brands had added 157 outlets, including Pizza Hut, KFC and Taco Bell.
