US-based Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group is in advance talks with Indian real estate developers to debut luxury residential apartments in India. But with one caveat- the Radisson-branded residential will have to beconstructedadjacent to its hotel property, the Business Standard reported today .
According to the report, the five-star Radisson Blu Residence and the four-star Radisson Residence will become operational by 2019.
The prices for the apartments will be estimated by developers based on prevalent rates while the hotel group, which will manage the residence, will charge a fee on the final transaction. The residences will also boast of facilities like clubs, spas, concierge desks, valet parking and room service facilities. This is not the first time that a global hotel major is entering into the residencesbusinesses. Hospitality companies such as Marriott and Hyatt have also ventured into the same and the luxury apartments have been a big hit with Indian developers.

Meanwhile, Carlson Rezidor in collaboration with Bestech Hospitalities will develop 43 more Park Inn by Radisson hotels in India by 2024.
Carlson Rezidor has 65 hotels in operation and 36 under development in the country.
India is also the company’s focal point for the roll-out of the next generation Country Inns & Suites By Carlson brand.
