New Delhi: Network18 has swept the exchange4media News Broadcasting Awards (ENBA) 2013.
CNN-IBN won several awards in various categories including Best News Coverage National, Best In-Show Graphics and Best Talk Show in the exchange4media News Broadcasting Awards (ENBA) 2013 which were given away in New Delhi on Saturday evening. Network18’s Hindi news channel IBN7 also bagged numerous awards.

While Network18’s Founder-Editor Raghav Bahl won the Lifetime Achievement Award, the News Network CEO English of the Year award went to Network18’s B Sai Kumar.
Raghav Bahl said, “I accept it on behalf of Network 18 because that really where the award belongs. It belongs to nearly 5000 people who work so hard. We have grown nearly 70 percent of the CAGR over the last 7-8 years.”
Sai Kumar said, “We at Network18 believe very strongly the news industry has very good times ahead. We see two key trends- we see news going local, news going multi-device and to that end I think the direction is very clear - convert news rooms with a keen eye on multiple platforms, that’s where we are going to see a lot of action in the year ahead.”
CNN-IBN’s World View programme anchored by Suhasini Haider won two awards - the Best In-Show Graphics category for its programme ‘Race for White House’ and the second for its programme ‘Inside Mayanmar’ in the Best News Coverage International category.

The channel also bagged the award for Best News Coverage National in English for its programme ‘Himalayan Tsunami’. IBN7’s ‘Salamat Rahahein Apne’ also bagged the award in the Hindi category.IBN7’s ‘Ground Zero Bangladesh’ bagged Best News Coverage International in the Hindi category.
CNBC-TV18’s Shereen Bhan walked away with the Best Anchor - English for the programme ‘India Business Hour’. Sonia Shenoy of CNBC-TV18 won the young professional of the year-English. Sana Ally of CNBC-TV18 won the young professional of the year-business-English.
Best Business Programme in English was awarded to CNBC-TV18’s ‘Young Turks.’
