Chennai: ChargeBee, an online subscription and recurring billing management solutions provider, has partnered with Worldpay, a global leader in payment processing, to offer a new integrated payments solution for subscription billing. Together with Worldpay, we will offer innovative solutions in two critical areas — subscription billing and recurring payment processing — for businesses of any size and industry,” notes Krish Subramanian, Co-Founder and CEO of ChargeBee. There are already more than 20 businesses of all sizes operating in India, Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, United Kingdom and United States, using the bespoke integration module. “Recurring payments and subscription models are becoming more popular, as consumers adapt their consumption habits to pay only for those items and services they wish to use,” says Kevin Dallas, Chief Product and Marketing Officer, Global eCommerce at Worldpay.” Freshdesk, a cloud based customer support software provider is the first enterprise customer to benefit from the new pre-built integration, which has enabled the company to reach a broader client base by offering multi-currency payments to its customers around the world. Girish Mathrubootham, CEO of Freshdesk said the company had been able to scale quickly by accepting payments in local currencies and choose a currency of their choice using the customised integration between Worldpay and ChargeBee . “Since we went live, we have seen our credit card acceptance rates increase by five percent.
