 "Vodafone IPL campaign: ZooZoos bicker in 'Bigg House', turn salesmen in 'Sky Shop'")
Ogilvy India’s campaign for Vodafone recently saw the release of its eighth and ninth spots for the Indian Premier League. One of the new spots features the ZooZoos in a setting that is reminiscent of popular Indian reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, while the other has the characters anchoring a home shopping TV channel.

‘ZooZoo Bigg House’ opens to two ZooZoos having an ugly argument, while a third one is comfortably lying down in bed, enjoying the fight. A fourth ZooZoo comes in to try and pacify the bickering ZooZoos, to no avail. Two more join in and the argument even gets more chaotic. Finally, one of the ZooZoos goes straight to the camera and begins crying in distress, adding to the drama, distress and confusion.
The end slate comes into the screen with the super “Need help instantly? Get help 24x7 with Live Chat”.

The ‘ZooZoo Sky Shop’ ad shows the ZooZoos in the setting of a home shopping TV show. One ZooZoo is an anchor of the show while the other is a guest. The anchor ZooZoo whips out a phone and begins chattering nineteen to the dozen about its features. He shows the guest how the phone has an in-built knife and demonstrates by cutting vegetables. Next, he shows the audience how the phone is equipped to be a hand blender as well. Next, he demonstrates how it can also be used as a small portable fan and an X-ray device.
The end slate comes in saying ‘Live demo of the latest smartphones. Walk into the latest Vodafone Store’.
