StrawberryFrog India turns Famous

StrawberryFrog’s India association has come to an end after 16 months. The agency, fronted by Raj Kamble, has decided to go 100% independent and will now be called Famous Innovations.

Kamble, founder and chief creative officer of Famous says, “The last 16 months have been amazing at the agency. We have won 9 out of the 11 businesses we pitched for, and I am very positive about the team we have built. Now, in India, we are moving out of the licensing model of using a global brand name. Our true strength is our passionate team and nothing should stop us from investing in our people and in our work.”

The new agency will continue to work on the accounts it has, which include Raymond, Titan Industries, SAB Miller, Lakme lever, Vadilal Ice-creams, Spykar, MassMutual USA, Total Environment and Piramal amongst others.

Kamble adds, “We are at an exciting phase of our journey and I believe that the work we have on the table with Mahindra RisePrize, Xylys by Titan and Raymond will make our clients proud.”

Apart from Kamble, the leadership team at Famous comprise Arun Raman, head of strategy and Kamal Mandal as chief financial officer.

Speaking about the agency’s new name, Raman says, “Innovation is in our DNA. Our new name captures our spirit perfectly: making our client brands famous through our innovative solutions.”

Following this move, Famous Innovations will not be associated with StrawberryFrog globally, in any way.
