Shruti Varma is Contract's new head for Tata Docomo biz

Contract Advertising has appointed Shruti Varma as senior vice president and business head for Tata Docomo. Varma joins the agency from Havas Worldwide, where she spent close to eight years heading the Reckitt Benckiser account for India and the South East Asian markets. She will report to Shivaji Dasgupta, senior vice president and general manager, Contract Delhi.

Said Dasgupta, “Contract has always been a melting pot of great talent and Shruti is a very welcome addition to the pool. Besides Reckitt Benckiser, Varma has also worked with Bates for over three years, predominantly on the Dabur account.

And I think I have contributed in meaningful ways in turning some challenger brands into leader brands. And that’s what’s exciting about our business.
