Dabur India, the company behind Pudin Hara has launched Pudin Hara Fizz, marking its foray into the antacid powder segment. To promote the powder, Dabur has also rolled out a TV-led campaign that positions the brand as ‘pet ka fire brigade’ which has been created by DDB Mudra.

The TVC features popular TV actor Ram Kapoor, and begins with him reading a newspaper one morning. Suddenly, he lets out an acidic belch in the form of fire and burns a hole through his newspaper. Cut to the scene where he is at his child’s birthday party. The belches again the minute the child blows out the candles, only to light them up again. Next, he is having a quiet dinner with his wife at home, this time burning a hole through the tablecloth with the belch. Next, a small Pudin Hara Fizz branded fire brigade comes to him at the table. He drinks a glass of the drink and hence douses the flame.
