If your dream is big enough, then it doesn’t matter who you are and where you are from. This is, perhaps, the single biggest takeaway for viewers in Spice’s newest commercial. Conceptualised by Ogilvy & Mather, the new commercial aims to tell viewers that Spice Mobile’s new smart phones make it possible for people to dream big and achieve them.

The film opens with a rural Indian boy who aims to break the world record for discus throwing. This, in a place which hasn’t even heard of discus throwing as a sport. Despite having no means or sports equipment to train with, the boy trains hard making exercise equipment with everything at his disposal - gas cylinders, car tyres, staircases, rocky terrains, everything. He also trains using his Spice Mobile smart phones, looking up videos of Olympic discus throwers and world records to achieve his biggest dream. The end slate appears, telling viewers that Spice Mobile ‘Milaye Sapnon Se’.
