The Network of the Year award went to Ogilvy and Mather, with BBDO and DDB in second and third place, respectively.

Adam&EveDDB, London was the The Agency of the Year. Dentsu, Tokyo was second and AlmapBBDO, Sao Paulo was in third place.

The Independent Agency of the Year award went to Forsman&Bodenfors, Gothenburg. Second and third places went to Lemz, Amsterdam and Wieden + Kennedy, Portland.

The inaugural Regional Network of the Year winners were BBDO in APAC; DDB in the EMEA; BBDO again in North America and O&M in South America.

The Palme d’Or, given to the most awarded production company, was presented to MJZ, USA. O Positive Films, USA came second and Outsider, UK third.

Joe Pytka was honoured and presented with the Lion of St. Mark, presented in recognition of his contribution to creativity in advertising and communications.

McDonald’s was given the Creative Marketer of the Year award, which was received by Steve Easterbrook, senior executive vice president and global chief brand officer, McDonald’s was present to receive the award.

The winners of the Young Lions Film Competition saw the Bulgarian team comprising Vladimir Gerasimov and Zhelez Atanasov winning a gold.

The Young Marketers Competition saw the team from Russia, Marisol Diaz Rozic and Marianela Frick from Pepsico, take home the Gold medal.
