The AAAI has announced its winners for the Young Lions competition. The competition invites participation of young creative people under the age of 28 from Advertising Agencies (for Creative) young media professionals, from Advertising/Media Agencies (for Media) and young marketing professionals under 30 years of age from client organisations/advertisers (for Marketers).
Of the 250 entries received this year, teams from Publicis, Mediacom and Hindustan Unilever won at the competition. Gaurav Joshi and Siddharth Joglekar from Publicis won the Young Lions Creative Competition for their work on the theme “Come forward and help crime and accident victims”.
Chinmay Kelkar and Rohan Sood from MediaCom’s work on ‘Don’t bribe and kill the nation’ won them the Young Lions Media Competition.
Lastly, Samyukta Iyer and Janvi Parekh from Hindustan Unilever, Mumbai bagged the Young Lions Marketers Competition. Their brief was to create an advertising strategy for a premium hair oil brand slated to enter Indian markets, but to deal with consumers’ reluctance to pay the premium.
The winning teams will go on an all-expenses paid trip to France in June 2014 to participate in the Young Lions Competitions in Cannes Lions.
