(Reuters) - BP said on Tuesday it had agreed to sell all its Alaskan operations and interests for $5.6 billion to Hilcorp Alaska, an affiliate of Hilcorp Energy Co.
BP said the sale, which includes interests in the giant Prudhoe Bay field and Trans Alaska Pipeline, provides significant progress towards its $10 billion divestment programme.
