YOU Telecom Ties Up With atom Technologies

atom Technologies, a player in the m-payments space, has announced that YOU Telecom has entered into a partnership with the company to put to service the atom platform for its end customers in Maharashtra. This service will enable end customers to make payments over the phone using credit cards in a completely automated and secure environment. This IVR-based payment facility will now be available for YOU Telecom subscribers across Maharashtra.

In the wake of rise in online payment security concerns, subscribers can now recharge/ renew services like broadband connection, voice and video services, etc by paying through the conventional mode of phone instantly and ensure uninterrupted services. YOU Telecom expects a surge in recharge and fresh subscriptions through the atom platform impacting the ISPs bottom line as well as top line.

“To enhance service experience and to enable instant recharge/ refills for subscribers we have tied up with atom. With this, we will not only increase our overall business in the state, but will also become more cost effective and competitive. This marks our ability to leverage innovative technologies and reach out to our customers, in addition to our Internet presence,” said EVS Chakravarthy, CEO, YOU Telecom India.

“We are happy to have YOU Telecom added to a large set of partner merchants, who are using our m-payments platform for IVR as well as mobiles for their payment needs. We are sure that this will provide YOU telecom’s customers a very convenient way to renew their subscriptions, which will definitely aid their business also,” said Dewang Neralla, director of atom Technologies. “Over a period of time, we have seen an increase in the volume of transactions happening over our platform across different cities and verticals,” he added.

“Our customers can now be assured of instant and hassle free recharge of their Internet accounts through an automated and secure environment using their phones,” said Chakravarthy.
