Wishtel has announced the launch of ‘IRA’ and ‘IRA Thing’ tablets. Designed and manufactured in India, the tablets are priced between Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 5,500 and will be available through over 350 distribution and support centers. Wishtel has partnered with VIA Technologies for these new devices.
Among the key features include support for native Indian languages, 7” capacitive and resistive touch screens, 802.11b/g WiFi, UBS 2.0 port, etc. The tablets also come with personal productivity, social media, communications, and entertainment apps. These include an eBook reader app, as well as a growing range of course content for ICSE, CBSE and state boards plus engineering, medical, and other higher education offerings.
