smartBridges Launches CPE airClient TOTAL 551

smartBridges has launched the airClient TOTAL 551 (sB3416) series of Customer Premise Equipment (CPE). This CPE is designed specifically for communication service providers to establish end-to-end high-performance wireless connectivity in the licence-free UNII 5.xGHz bands.

Supplied together with an 18dBi integrated antenna, the OFDM-based client radio is designed for simple NrLOS installations up to 6km from the base station. Also, 10km distance connectivity is made possible with an optional external antenna connected to the N-type antenna connector. Housed in a weatherproof IP65 rated enclosure, the industrial grade outdoor CPE is designed to deliver reliable performance in all climatic conditions.
