Staying true to their aim of delivering innovative BPM solutions, Skelta BPM.NET 2009 (due for release early this month), leverages enterprise class BPM architecture to deliver new functionalities in core BPM functions. The new features of Skelta BPM.NET 2009 will help organisations build applications rapidly on the Skelta platform. They include a Native Forms Designer, enhanced BAM and KPIs, revamped Skelta Lists, Skelta Object Access Layer, enhanced security, a more robust Skelta File Watcher and also native connectors for BizTalk and SAP.
Skelta’s Business Activity Monitoring tool (BAM), a resident feature of the BPM product, raises the bar on productivity management in the new release. Its business intelligence capabilities provide users with several reports and activity monitoring views and permit users to configure DataPoints and KPIs for comprehensive Business Activity Monitoring.
SkeltaBPM.NET 2009 also features a new Forms Designer. Customised Forms are integral to processes and often initiate organisational workflows. However, the serious BPM user has always felt the lack of a user-friendly forms designer for rapidly building GUIs and associating created forms with processes. Skelta’s native Forms Designer addresses this need.
Further, Skelta BPM.NET 2009’s enhanced security features offer users a comprehensive enterprise level security infrastructure for itemised levels of participation while its SOA functionality facilitates reusability of existing .NET objects by enabling them to be directly consumed in the processes without any modifications, thus avoiding the need to write custom workflow activities. Skelta BPM.NET 2009’s ‘Lists’ feature is an embeddable data repository for storing forms data wherein end users can create their own lists based on Forms.
Skelta CEO Sanjay Shah said, “With Skelta BPM.NET 2009, we are very excited about delivering an evolved version of our product, especially because the package includes a rich set of features that specifically match our customer requirements for a more holistic BPM platform. We expect Skelta BPM.NET 2009 to provide businesses with enhanced visibility and high returns on their BPM investments.”
