Prysm, one of the most prominent developers of collaborative solutions has improved the collaborative suite of apps 'Prysm Visual Workplace' with the integration of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft OneDrive for Business platform. The integration will help it easier for users to work with Microsoft tools and applications. The API integration for the OneDrive platform makes access, sync and searching the data a breeze without having to access files outside the 'Visual Workplace'.
This integration is in addition to the Microsoft Skype for Business integration; that was announced earlier. The Skype integration was built using the Microsoft Software Developer Kit enabling the users to join or schedule Skype meeting using the 'Visual Platform'. The integration further allowed all users to engage in meetings and access to all the content loaded into the workplace. The unique point of Prysm is that it lets users access all the data and content at the same time without limiting the access to one window at the time for review in group settings. All the applications, content, video conferencing and web data are combined in a seamless way, allowing the users to collaborate and interact at the same time. The platform has no limit on the amount and format of data being worked at the same time and interact to interact and collaborate available across devices.
The latest integration adds Microsoft applications as a content layer on the platform to enable seamless experience right from the creation of content to the reviewing and editing is concerned. The backend will leverage the integration of apps by Microsoft as the platform is run on Microsoft Azure Cloud platform. “We want to make collaboration as easy as possible for our customers and will go above and beyond to make sure they have every application that enables them to seamlessly collaborate with colleagues, customers, and partners, no matter their location or device. Content aside, data security is one of our top priorities. As Microsoft is synonymous with enterprise applications, cloud computing, and security, our work with Microsoft is incredibly important. With this integration, enterprises are not only able to leverage their existing Microsoft investments but remain confident that their shared data is safe and secure,” added Paige O’Neill, CMO, Prysm on the announcement of the integration.
