Timothy Lee Joins Websense As VP For APAC

Websense has announced the appointment of Timothy Lee as Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan. Lee will be responsible for building and aligning the sales and channel strategy for the APAC region to support business growth.

Timothy joins Websense from Crossbeam Systems where he spent two and a half years as Vice President, Asia Pacific. Prior to that, Lee spent 7 years at Nokia Enterprise Solutions as Vice President, Asia Pacific for their enterprise solutions division.

“Working closely with the regional teams, I see a great opportunity to further develop the APAC region to take the business to the next level,” explains Lee. “In the past year, we have doubled our headcount as we have opened a Technical Assistance Centre in Beijing and a large R&D centre based in China. This is an exciting challenge as Websense continues to expand its product portfolio to include internet filtering and security solutions for SMBs right through to a solution for information leak prevention.”
