3Com Appoints New Regional SMB Marketing Head

3Com Corporation has announced the appointment of Audrey Chang as small and medium business (SMB) Marketing Manager for 3Com Asia Pacific. In her new role, Chang will be responsible for driving 3Com’s SMB products and marketing initiatives at a regional level across multiple countries.

To meet her new responsibilities, Chang will be working with 3Com’s distributors and SMB resellers across the region to drive sales of 3Com’s SMB products. She will also be responsible for increasing the awareness of these products in the marketplace and has been tasked with positioning and branding 3Com as a leader in the SMB space.

As the driver of 3Com’s SMB marketing strategy, Chang is responsible for introducing new, innovative SMB products from 3Com to the Asia Pacific market place and is committed to acquiring mindshare of SMB resellers in the region.

“Audrey has more than 12 years of experience in marketing and comes to us with vast expertise in IT marketing, volume product management, and SMB marketing,” said Peter Chai, vice-president and general manager, Asia Pacific, 3Com Corporation. “We are very fortunate to have Audrey as part of our marketing team in Asia Pacific. With her insights and experience in the competitive landscape for the SMB marketing scene, I am very confident that we now have the best people in place to help us reach potential and existing SMB customers in the region.”

Before joining 3Com, Chang was regional marketing manager, ASEAN for Avaya Singapore. At Avaya, she was responsible for planning and managing all marketing programmes in the region, managing all channel programmes and liaising with regional PR teams on corporate communications to raise brand awareness and develop press coverage opportunities.

Audrey’s history of experience also includes working as business development manager at Motorola Electronics covering the emerging and South Asia market, and account manager at 3M Technologies, Singapore, where she identified and implemented sales and marketing initiatives for key partners in Singapore and regional emerging markets.

Audrey graduated with a bachelor’s (economics) in management studies from the University of London and was awarded Honors.
