ORSYP Software, a global provider of enterprise workload automation solutions and services, has released its latest software innovation UNIJOB; an IT system task automation tool for data centres and large IT environments.

In most organisations, Unix (Cron) jobs and Windows tasks usually exist in high volumes and are dispersed and disorganised. As a result, IT organisations end up spending time and resources tracking them down in order to monitor and maintain them. ORSYP’s UNIJOB helps transform this chaos into a controlled and predictable IT Operations environment. More important, it enables a faster mean time to repair in the event that a job fails. Jobs such as backups, ftp, database management, and file system cleanups can represent up to 20 percent of IT operations and often they are the safety net for the successful execution of business applications, in terms of availability and service delivery.
