Nortel has appointed Francois Lancon as vice president, Enterprise Networks, Asia, effective immediately. In his new role at Nortel, Lancon will be responsible for accelerating momentum and driving market leadership for the company’s Enterprise business in Asia.
“Francois Lancon is a recognised leader in the industry and with his extensive experience, I have no doubt he will play a key role in driving our Enterprise business to the next level,” said Mike Pangia, president of Nortel Asia.
Lancon started his career with IBM in France. Most recently he was the senior vice president of Operations and Strategy for Convergys based in Orlando. Prior to this position he was president of Convergys Asia Pacific. Lancon will be based at Nortel’s offices in Singapore.
