Nexus has achieved the Master Security Specialization from Cisco. This specialisation recognises Nexus as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy, and support Cisco network security solutions.

The Cisco Master Security Specialization is designed to recognise an elite group of resale channel partners, who have invested in in-depth technology skills and have demonstrated success in providing services for Cisco’s more value-added security solutions. These include Cisco Security Agent, Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis, and Response System (Cisco Security MARS), Network Admission Control, and Cisco IOS Software. Partners with a highly-qualified security practice can achieve a Master Security Specialization regardless of certification level.
To achieve the Master Security Specialization, partners must first attain the Advanced Security Specialization. Partners must then meet a series of stringent requirements in three categories: technology capabilities, sales expertise, and Cisco Lifecycle Services. Channel partners must possess a number of Cisco and industry-standard technical certification requirements; provide customer references that document Cisco-prescribed design and deployment capabilities; and supply evidence that they have the infrastructure to support a full menu of Lifecycle Services offerings and capabilities.
Cisco master specialisations provide Nexus access to comprehensive sales, technical, and lifecycle services training and support available from Cisco.
