NetEx, a provider of high speed data transport over TCP, has announced it will offer its Data Transport acceleration technology to solution provider partners as a managed service for one-time data migration projects or recurring replication.
The HyperIP Data Transport optimisation solutions are an affordable method of application acceleration for remote data replication and large file transfer requirements. Whether using Virtual HyperIP software or the HyperIP appliance, solution providers, who wish to take advantage of HyperIP as a revenue-generating service, can now offer their customers the ability to move or replicate vast amounts of critical information using their common Ethernet and TCP/IP networks. Managed HyperIP is completely transparent to the application and requires no end user intervention.
“Solution providers are increasingly challenged to deliver value to their customers, and during a time when end users may not have the budget for forklift upgrades, our partners are looking to services as a way to sustain their business,” said Robert MacIntyre, vice president of Business Development and Marketing at NetEx. “HyperIP as a managed service offering will be welcomed by our partners since it eliminates hardware investment, eliminates wasted time, and never compromises data security.”
With HyperIP, solution providers get a business continuity and disaster recovery optimisation solution for backup, recovery and data replication applications. This technology accelerates and optimises data replication and file transfer applications by aggregating multiple data replication applications over a shared connection while mitigating the inherent network latency and network disruption for long-distance remote TCP data transmissions.
