One of the interesting Digital Signage solutions announced, the ‘Panel Director’ enables display of advertisements and in-store promotions, breaking news, announcements and timetables. This may especially be relevant to the hospitality/ retail sector.

So what is the distinguishing factor that makes it relevant to enterprises? “Its design makes it highly reliable and it incorporates a professional grade panel with an in-built expansion slot enabling convenience & flexibility. It can be used continuously in a 24/7 environment,” says Sanjay Dhuria, Country Head–Display Products and Solutions, NEC India.

The display can be deployed in video wall matrices of up to 10x10 (100 displays), creating a total surface area of approximately 645 sq ft. The barely discernable transition gap between displays ensures a homogenous picture across the matrix and can be used for online conferencing and telepresence meetings.
