L&T Infotech Selects HP Software Testing Services

HP announced that L&T Infotech has selected HP software to help its customers improve IT performance with quality, secure applications.

According to Coleman Parkes research commissioned by HP, many enterprises in India have begun to embrace cloud computing to develop new business applications(35 percent), reduce the cost of operations (35 percent) and increase their agility to respond to market changes (35 percent).

Mumbai-based L&T Infotech provides software testing services through its independent testing practice, Testing Service Line (TSL). For this global expansion to succeed, L&T Infotech chose to integrate HP’s IT Performance Suite software solutions into its testing business. With enhanced testing and quality control components, HP’s IT Performance Suite will enable L&T Infotech to offer flexible and efficient application testing services. This will help improve L&T’s efficiency by up to 80 percent and time-to-market by an estimated 40 percent.

HP IT Performance Suite software suite includes the HP Performance Center and the HP Quality Centre. The HP Performance Center software tests, analyses, and validates application performance against customer business requirements. The HP Quality Centre software prioritises testing based on business risk. It manages and automates the delivery of secure, quality applications. This allows L&T Infotech to strengthen its testing practice and to introduce new services for the delivery of high quality applications to its customers.
