L&T ECC Selects IBM As Hardware Platform

Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) Engineering Construction & Contracts Division (ECC), has selected IBM’s hardware platform to resolve their CPU and memory performance issues. L&T’s ECC division also wanted to add a couple of modules in their ERP application, to meet their organisation needs. IBM offered a solution based on their eX5 Product portfolio, consisting of IBM X3850X5 – 8 Sockets 8C x7560 -2.26Ghz – 2Nos.

“The value proposition of IBM’s overall solution was unmatched. Our ERP Enterprise Information portal (EIP) runs on IBM today,” said B. Srinivasan, General Manager- IT , L&T ECC Division.
