Exclusive IT Innovation awards were presented by Lenovo, powered by NASSCOM and CNBC-TV18 recognising the contribution of the Information Technology industry. The best of India’s IT companies were felicitated for their innovation and contribution.
Arun Maira, the former management consultant and present member of Planning Commission of India felicitated IT Innovation Awards that were conferred to organisations within the automotive, banking (commercial), banking (cooperative), energy and utilities verticals, among others. The Awards were categorised into 11 verticals that include recognising “Best IT Driven Innovation”, “Most Innovative Green IT Implementation” and “Most Innovative Project” for Social Inclusion” among others.
Speaking on this occasion, Anil Uniyal, COO-Network 18 Media and Head TV18 Media Operations at Network 18 said, “These awards are a felicitation for being innovative thought leaders who excelled in achieving strategic goals and objectives for the organisations. Over the past three months, we carefully looked at organisations that have the ability to bring India as the next IT super power.”
Frost & Sullivan was the Knowledge Partner for driving the research and evaluation process for this award. A jury for formed to nominate the winners that was chaired by N.Chandrasekaran, MD & CEO of TCS, and Chairman of NASSCOM. The other members of the jury included:
