Informatica Corporation, the data integration software provider, has announced the inauguration of a new 150,000 square foot research and development (R&D) facility in Bangalore, India. The new site will contribute to the design, development, release and maintenance of Informatica’s market leading products and technology. The company is also extending its commitment to India and its local talent to develop the next generation of data integration solutions with the new centre focused on innovation.
R&D is of strategic importance at Informatica, which invests around 16 per cent of annual revenues in research and development. Informatica’s international development increases development productivity and delivers innovative product capabilities. Engineers at the India R&D facility contribute to mainline, cutting-edge products across all components of the Informatica Platform, catering to the requirements of leading customers around the world.
