 "Indian IT Sector To Grow By 35% In 2007")
India’s information technology sector has become its fastest growing industry, according to the India IT Services Executive Report by Research and Markets. IT Exports currently at US$24 billion are projected to grow by 35% in 2007, and will exceed US$64 billion by 2010.
The report states that the Indian IT export industry consists of approximately 3,300 companies exporting to 150 countries.
The report also finds that rising costs and local capacity constraints are driving companies to Tier 2 cities such as Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune and Tier 3 cities such as Jaipur, Chandigarh, Mysore and Ahmedabad.
