IBM Aids Enterprise-Wide Transformation At Marvel Realtors

Marvel Realtors and IBM have announced the completion of phase one of a process improvement initiative at Marvel Realtors through a combination of new process design, automation and integration of processes using new technologies.

As the consulting partner, IBM conducted Process Diagnostics and a ‘Voice of Customer’ study whose findings were leveraged for the SAP implementation. In addition, IBM redesigned the organisation structure, CRM processes, and performance management system for Marvel Group.

This enterprise-wide transformation initiative will help improve the efficiency of business processes through standardisation and creation of a seamless integrated ecosystem of projects, logistics and finance functions.

Under the two contracts signed in April and September this year, the integration will be enabled by IBM’s all-in-one solution for real estate certified by SAP. This initiative will lead to an improvement in lead conversion ratio, customer and employee satisfaction levels, internal stakeholder management and a more standardised adoption of best-of-breed business processes across business units and project sites for Marvel.

The SAP solution being implemented by IBM reaches across various projects and legal entities at Marvel, covering functionalities like Financial Accounting and Costing; Project Planning and Execution; Procurement and Inventory Management; Real Estate Sales; Document Management; and Quality Management.

IBM adopted a 360-degree approach for designing the processes. A customer survey was conducted to understand the needs of the customer and business priorities to identify expansion plans with the Marvel leadership team. The project in itself was implemented using IBM developed tools and project management methodologies.
