HSBC India Deploys Control M Soln For Job Scheduling

HSBC is a current global user of BMC CONTROL-M. Their interest was to implement the same solution for their job scheduling initiatives in Indian offices and as a ‘BMC Elite Solution Partner’, GSS America was responsible to provide a turnkey solution from design, installation training, production activation and onsite implementation of CONTROL-M to the client.

Apart from the design, infrastructure creation and configuration, one of the major activities was scheduling of demonstrated banking applications through CONTROL-M. The purpose of this activity was to create new job definitions/ processes in the new scheduling environment and to automate the current processes. During the process, up to 300 jobs were migrated and/ or defined.

GSS will also be responsible to provide six months of remote support to HSBC for the custom-defined processes and scripts used to automate the RBI-defined banking application post implementation as a part of the solution.
