GlobalOutlook, a company that offers white label ‘hosted’ Microsoft Exchange and collaboration services, is the infrastructure partner for BSNL’s Managed Business Mail, which has recently been launched by the telecom firm as a step to move beyond the conventional e-mail and empower businesses with tools to increase productivity, mobility and collaboration. Microsoft, the existing principal partner of GlobalOutlook is the Marketing Support Partner in this collaboration.
As the infrastructure partner, GlobalOutlook is enabling BSNL to offer the latest version of Microsoft Exchange and collaboration services. BSNL as a service provider is in turn offering one-stop services like e-mail, document storage/ sharing and push e-mail on mobiles to its end customers.
The GlobalOutlook Solution will allow mid-market companies through BSNL to adopt integrated company communication through Exchange 2007, without the costs of an in-house deployment. Users can streamline document management and information retrieval; centralise company e-mail lists, calendars, and also facilitate available time/ day slots as per everyone’s schedule; and enable a path to unified messaging with one e-mail inbox for different types of messaging.
BSNL Managed Business Mail enabled by GlobalOutlook, which brings in all the above-mentioned benefits, is available to customers under different packages like Basic, Standard, Mobility and Mobility Blackberry with per month charges starting from Rs 420 going up to Rs 1,610 exclusive of taxes.
