Gemini To Install And Commission BSNL CDMA Cell Sites

Gemini Communication has bagged a contract for installation and commissioning of telecom equipments and their connected accessories across 11 circles in India. These 11 circles include Andaman & Nicobar, Andhra Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and Kerala. The CDMA deployment will enhance connectivity and clarity across India for BSNL subscribers.

According to Ram Kumar, executive director, GCL, “GCL is expanding its service area into Cellular Communication from the hitherto stronghold of Broadband Access Networks with this contract. GCL will deploy skilled manpower, installation tools, aids and measuring instruments, gauges in each of the 11 circles for expediting the performance of work.”

The installation and commissioning includes acceptance testing of Telecom WLL CDMA 2000 in MSC/BSC/BTS/ Repeater equipments and their connected accessories.
