Electrotherm has announced the deployment of several IT solutions from Microsoft to ensure a transition to the next level of productivity and growth. Electrotherm has streamlined collaboration across its multiple business segments and created a dynamic repository of business knowledge. The company will deploy Microsoft’s Exchange, Hyper-V, SharePoint, Microsoft Office 2010 and Office Communications Server (OCS) to help create an IT infrastructure that will address its business needs in an affordable manner.
“We are on a growth path, and we were seeking solutions which would scale up seamlessly and dynamically. Like every business we too required IT solutions which were familiar, easy to use, and reliable and of course offered a great TCO. Microsoft’s end to end value proposition and its vast array of secure and reliable solutions fit our requirements perfectly,” said Avinash Bhandari, Joint Managing Director & CEO, Electrotherm India Limited. “The company has also put in place infallible security solutions and adopted tools for business continuity.”
“For today’s CIOs a key factor to adopt technology is in using the power of software to make communications simpler, more open and more cost-efficient. At Microsoft we have been working to change the way people stay connected in large and small organisations, I am delighted that Electrotherm has chosen to adopt our communication and collaboration platform which is easy to use and scales with their needs,” said Rajeev Mittal, General Manager, Small and Medium Enterprise, Microsoft India.
