Newgen Software Technologies, a player in the Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Document Management space, has announced the launch of the new version of its compliance automation and corporate governance product, OmniCompliance.
Newgen’s governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software is a comprehensive suite that addresses the audit, risk management and compliance-monitoring requirements of governance-savvy enterprises.
The suite will assist the management in gaining visibility of processes, self-certifications and better monitoring.
The suite comes with three modules - compliance execution and assessment, risk profiling and controls, self-assessment survey and audit management. Each of these modules will have strong reporting and monitoring dashboard capabilities.
The suite enables independent directors to obtain a clear picture of the current state of affairs as regards adherence to compliance standards, and provides them with the necessary wherewithal to question exceptions.

OmniCompliance also empowers the CXO by collecting and collating internal control certificates from bottom up across the organisational hierarchy. This further helps in building management assurance and confidence to comply with both Clause 49 as well as the mandate of the Companies Act 1956.
