 "Dax Networks Launches DX-4044")
Dax Networks has launched DX-4044, a 4 Mbps LAN extender paired with integrated 4 port 10/100 switch and routing features. It is targeted at small, medium and large enterprises.
DX-4044 has the functions of Single-Paired High Speed Digital Subscriber Loop (SHDSL) 4-wire router. The speed supports range from Nx64Kbps (ie) 64kbps to 2.304Mbps symmetric payload rates over existing copper 2 wire and Nx128Kbps (ie) 128Kbps to 4.608Mbps for 4 wire mode operation.
The DX-4044 comes with functions of Multi-DMZ, virtual server mapping and VPN pass-through for safeguarded connections. It follows the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) with SNMPv1/SNMPv2 agent and MIB II which enables network administrators to manage network performance, monitor and troubleshoot network problems, and plan for network growth. DX-4044 also supports four ports 10Base-T /100Base-T auto-negotiation and auto-MDIX switching ports which allows configuration and management with password control for various application environments.
