Array Networks, the application access, security and delivery solution provider, has announced the immediate availability of its next-generation, 60Gbps application delivery controller (ADC) appliance. The APV9650 delivers more L4 throughput, more Layer 7 throughput and unbeatable price-performance as compared to the closest competing ADC appliance. It also introduces key enhancements for optimising service delivery and lowering costs in the enterprise and service provider datacentre.
Powered by Array’s SpeedCore application delivery platform, the APV9650 leverages a parallelised, multi-core architecture to pack maximum scalability and performance into a compact, energy-efficient form factor. Notable advancements include 2048-bit SSL encryption for accelerating performance and standards compliance, virtual environment integration and 10Gig Ethernet for an affordable route to datacentre modernisation, IPv6 for creating headroom to profit from explosive growth in mobility, and high-speed HTTP processing to enable real-time application velocity for millions of concurrent users.
