Buffalo, Japan, a provider of wired and wireless networking, storage and memory solutions has launched TeraStation Pro II, extending its line-up of TeraStation devices. The product is designed for businesses that demand a cost-effective, high-performance, NAS solution.

The TeraStation Pro features a 10/100/1000 Base-T Gigabit Ethernet port and Gigabit Jumbo Frame capability for higher transfer speeds as compared to standard Gigabit networks. Other features include SATA (Serial ATA) hard disk drives for enhanced data transfer speeds and Active Directory Support, which allows the device to utilise domain users and groups.
The TeraStation Pro is Windows and Macintosh compatible. It also includes four hard drives and five operational modes and features an advanced RAID system, which continually monitors the performance of the hard drives.
