Bookmyshow, Airtel To Offer Entertainment Ticketing Access On Phone

Bookmyshow.com has announced an alliance with Bharti Airtel to offer all Airtel subscribers across India direct access to bookmyshow.com on their mobile phones. This will be made possible through the use of user-friendly mobile applications, WAP as well as the convenience of the tele-booking facility.

Ashish Hemrajani, CEO and co-founder, Bookmyshow, said, "We are indeed happy to extend our service to Airtel customers for an effortless ticketing experience. We hope this alliance would help Airtel customers discover a convenient way to book tickets, which is what Bookmyshow is about."

With this alliance, Bookmyshow is enabling a ticketing platform for Airtel customers, who can now book tickets on the Airtel WAP site live.airtelworld.com, popularly known as 'Airtel Live' on all GPRS-enabled handsets. Airtel customers can also call 5432191 that would be directed to the Bookmyshow call centre for tele-booking and home delivery, for any cinema/play/concert venue covering any show time.
