Blue Coat Opens Subsidiary In IndiaBlue Coat Systems, a provider of secure content and application delivery, has announced the opening of its first subsidiary in India with an office located in New Delhi.

"With the tremendous growth potential in India, it is an opportune time for Blue Coat to establish a direct presence to better communicate with our partners and customers in this region. It is part of Blue Coat's expansion across the Asia Pacific region in order to better meet regional customer demands for WAN optimization and Web security solutions," said Matt Young, VP, Sales for Asia-Pacific, Blue Coat Systems.

Blue Coat solution offerings in India are available through its sole distributor Virtual NetComm and partner resellers.

This additional commitment enables us to better leverage Blue Coat's deep expertise in securing, controlling and accelerating business-critical applications and to better serve our resellers and customers,” said Rajendra Shah, CEO of Virtual NetComm.
