Bharti Airtel has signed a bilateral agreement with Russian telecommunications operator Rostelecom to directly route ISD traffic, improving the quality of voice calls between the two countries and offering roaming facility to subscribers.
The agreement has been signed between both the telecom players on ILD calls under a direct interconnect pact. However, a formal announcement is still to be made.
