Bharti Airtel To Invest $3.5 Billion

Bharti Airtel has announced an investment of $3.5 billion in 2007-08 to enhance its telecom network in India.

According to Sunil Mittal, CMD, Bharti Airtel, “We are planning to add 30,000 base-stations this year, largest anywhere in the world. The investment will also focus on expanding broadband and enterprise services.”
