Avnet Technology Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd., a leading technology distributor in the Indian market has announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Oracle India. Through this relationship, Avnet Technology Solutions will help market, distribute and drive business for Oracle’s hardware and software solutions through its partners spread across the country. Avnet Technology Solutions will provide Oracle partners with channel support, including training, enablement, lead generation, co-marketing, technical integration, services and ongoing support.
Avnet Technology Solutions will help Oracle increase its footprint in India and will enable partners to leverage Avnet’s Solutions Path practices to gain specialisation in the industries ideal for these solutions, such as the energy, financial, government, healthcare and retail markets, as well as data center technology expertise related to mobility, networking, security, storage and virtualisation.
Avnet will also distribute Oracle’s Systems, Databases and Middleware products in India. To train and enable the resellers, Oracle and Avnet will conduct joint road shows and product knowledge sessions in 10 cities. These sessions will cover over 200 resellers serving customers in industries like auto ancillaries, chemicals, consumer goods, engineering & construction, non-banking financial services, industrial manufacturing, pharma, media & entertainment, professional services including IT/ITES, real estate, retail, travel & transportation including logistics, gems & jewellery among others.
