Autodesk Targets Indian Manufacturers

Autodesk, a design software and digital solutions company, has announced its intention to help redefine the product development process in the Indian manufacturing industry, by introducing the concept of “Digital Prototyping”. Autodesk aims to assist Indian manufacturers enhance productivity and reduce cost of manufacturing.

Digital Prototyping is an approach that uses 3D modelling and engineering data to visualise and analyse designs without making physical prototypes. Using digital prototyping, manufacturers can bring new products to market faster without the expense and waste of multiple physical prototyping.

Andrew Anagnost, vice president, Manufacturing Solutions, Autodesk, said, “Autodesk is committed to providing companies with the most innovative 2D and 3D solutions.
