 "Atos To Implement SAP HANA In The Cloud At Systagenix")
Atos, an international IT services company, has announced that it has signed an agreement with Systagenix, a health care manufacturer, to implement the SAP HANA platform and the SAP BusinessObjects BI OnDemand solution in the cloud.
Atos is one of the first global resellers to offer these innovative SAP solutions that combine cloud, mobility and in-memory technology. SAP HANA offers improved visibility and flexibility of data across the organisation, available anytime and anywhere in a faster, more consistent approach and at a lower cost of ownership. This is the first global deal for delivery of SAP HANA in the cloud.
The offering will provide Systagenix with a cloud-based SAP BusinessObjects solution based on SAP HANA. The analytics solution will be consumed via mobile devices, e.g. iPad, along with near-zero-footprint Web browsers, and will replace Systagenix’s on-premise reporting across the entire enterprise. To achieve rapid ROI and time-to-market, the implementation will be delivered using the SAP ERP rapid-deployment solution for operational reporting with SAP HANA.

The solutions to be implemented at Systagenix cover five key elements that are part of the latest trends within the IT industry: in-memory computing, cloud computing, rapid-deployment solutions, analytics and mobility. The solutions will provide Systagenix with lower cost of ownership of its business intelligence solution coupled with mobility and in-memory reporting, allowing it to take analytics to a new level within its business.
