Atos opens CoE for Oracle Exadata Database Machine in India

Atos, a digital services company, has opened its Center of Excellence (COE) for the Oracle Exadata Database Machine, in its Business Technology Innovation Center (BTIC) at Pune, India.

The COE is equipped to showcase the capabilities of Oracle Exadata to customers who have business dependency on the performance of their databases. Customers can take advantage of Atos offer of ’try before you buy’ concept.

According to the company, Atos COE along with Oracle Partner Solutions Center (PSC) can help bring together benefits in delivering EPCe (Extreme Performance Computing-environments), using Atos’ experience in designing, building, migrating, implementing and managing the Oracle Exadata Database Machine and other Oracle engineered systems.

“Atos offers a three-step - ‘Scan-Proof-Perform’ - approach to enable an effective Oracle Exadata implementation for virtually any Oracle landscape,” the company added.

Atos combines consulting, systems integration and infrastructure management services expertise with Oracle’s applications and technology. The company offers various services for Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle’s PeopleSoft.

Atos has achieved experience worldwide with implementation and management of 85 Oracle Exadata Database Machine units with 14 different customers in various countries.
