Technology firm Aplab has signed an agreement with enterprise IT solutions provider Graphay to support global green initiatives. Aplab will carry the full line of Graphay's solutions, including products in desktop virtualisation, data centre virtualisation and data acceleration. Aplab will also leverage its national presence to support Graphay's products. These products, combined with Aplab's green solutions such as Mitramax will enable Aplab and Graphay to offer holistic green solutions for the IT data centre.
"Graphay's solutions span both the desktop and the data centre. Their thin client solution uses as little as three watts of power, cutting energy consumption and thereby, reducing our customers' carbon footprint. Their data centre solutions help save on overall operating expenses by reducing cooling and energy costs by as much as 40 percent," said Nishith Deodhar, managing director, Aplab.
Under the agreement, Aplab and Graphay will offer products and solutions that address the most pressing needs of enterprise customers.
"Aplab's track record for over 45 plus years makes it a very attractive company to partner with. Some of the solutions that we will bring to the market like the PowerSaver will afford a quick RoI to customers outside the traditional data centre," said Ashish Majmundar, CEO, Graphay.
