Anand Kekre To Lead Reconnex's India Operations

Reconnex corp, a provider of information monitoring and protection appliances, recently announced the appointment of Anand Kekre as country manager for its India operations. Anand will be responsible for leading and expanding its India operations.

Anand brings over thirteen years of experience in software R&D to his new position at Reconnex. He spent over 10 years with VERITAS Software (now Symantec) spearheading the growth of VERITAS in Pune from a few engineers to over 1200.

Anand worked at VERITAS in various capacities, including director of technology and chief architect of Storage Foundation Business Division. He was also instrumental in driving many key technology initiatives in company. He contributed over 50 patent applications to VERITAS’ Intellectual Property portfolio out of which, 11 have already been granted by the US Patent Office. In addition to VERITAS Anand also worked at IBM Bangalore, IBM Toronto Labs and Ensim.
