All India Oracle Users Group Organises Sangam '11 In Bangalore

All India Oracle Users Group (AIOUG), a non-profit organisation started by Oracle technology enthusiasts to spread awareness about Oracle technologies and support the growing community of Oracle technology users, will host the third Oracle Users Conference “Sangam11” on December 9th and 10th 2011 at Crowne Plaza Hotel , Electronic City in Bangalore.

Started in 2007, AIOUG currently has members encompassing Oracle technology ACEs & ACE Directors, other employed professionals and students. With access to world renowned Oracle technology experts and other Oracle User Groups across the world, AIOUG has been successfully running programmes across India to enhance the Oracle technology knowledge base in India. For the first time Sangam 11 is a co-hosted event with India OAUG (Oracle Applications Users Group) and JUG (Java User Groups) and will feature applications as a separate track along with Java, Oracle Database, middleware and other development tools.

This two day event is packed with sessions from renowned speakers who have worked on Oracle technologies for decades. Speakers include:

  • Arup Nanda, author, Oracle Magazine DBA of the year 2003 award winner, lead Database Administrator(DBA) at Starwood Hotels

  • Murali Subramanian, Group VP, Applications Product Development, Oracle

  • Harshad Oak, Author, Java Champion & Oracle ACE Director and Founder of IndicThreads

Over 30 speakers and 50 sessions on topics ranging from PL/SQL, Database, Java, Applications, Apex and Oracle Exadata, Performance Optimisation, Support and User Experience demos, the event promises to be a great platform for Oracle users to gain knowledge on the latest advancements on Oracle technologies – a company that continues to transform the way IT is viewed and used.

Sangam11 will provide a knowledge sharing platform for professionals and students that will help enhance their productivity and influence the quality, usability, and support of Oracle technology. Developers can also learn important tools, frameworks, techniques and best practices for building applications based on Oracle technologies especially on Java/PL/SQL.
