Ahmed Mahmoud Appointed Senior VP, Global IT, HP

HP has announced Ahmed Mahmoud as Senior Vice President, Global Information Technology, HP. Mahmoud will report to Randy Mott, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, HP.

Mahmoud will lead the IT teams responsible for the company’s hp.com, e-commerce and marketing organisations.

Mahmoud most recently was senior vice president and chief information officer for Advanced Micro Devices. Prior to that, he held a variety of IT management roles at Dell over a 13-year period. Before that he was an Oracle database administrator at Eastman Kodak.

“Ahmed has a unique combination of technology skills and industry vision, and will be of great benefit to HP,” said Mott. “He’s a great addition to an already deep and talented HP IT team.”
